Happy Valentine's Day!!

Hey guys!! sorry it's taken so long to update, but I finally have some time!
Anyway, The Bierman family had a wonderful Valentine's Day this year!! We started out going shopping for some secret pal gifts for my work! and Cooper just had to have a balloon!! The minute we got to the window of the store and the balloons caught his attention, it was over right then and there. After about 5 "What's that? "What's that?" and constant pointing, I finally gave in! (made for easy shopping too bc he was so enthralled by it)..Thurs night Cooper got another early Valentine's present..a Winnie the Pooh sugar coated marsh mellow pop!! I know, I know...not the healthiest of treats, but it's VALENTINE'S!! sweets for your sweetheart, right?
Friday he got to hand out his first Valentine to Noah, one of his buddies at daycare!!! and later, the rest of the Bad News Bears got to join in the fun!!
Happy Valentin's Day to Noah, Kadin, Caden and Justin!! and of course Ne-Ne!!!
AND!! Happy Valentine's Day to mommy!! I was so surprised when I received the most beautiful boquet of tulips at work!! The card read "Will you be our Valentine? Love, Cooper and Dad" Of course I WILL!!! I love my boys with all of my heart!!!
It was the best present ever! oh and some yummy chocolates accompanied the flowers! I have decided that Valentine's day is worse than Thanksgiving and Christmas combined as far as gaining weight goes!! I have eaten sooo much candy!!!
AND!! it wasn't over yet! Saturday (Valentine's Day!!) We were thrilled to have Duane Jr with us. so we celebrated with yes, more candy and more presents and steaks on the grill!! YUM YUM!!!

First day of 2009

Cooper and I spent Jan 1, 2009 helping Addie Thomas celebrate her first birthday! She is soo adorable! I told Cooper that she would be a cute little girlfriend! ..hehe
We had some yummy cake and ice cream and watched Addie open her b-day gifts!
After the party we spent some of the afternoon outside and Cooper rode his 4-wheeler.
It was such a nice day! The guys got home from hunting just in time for some black eyed peas served with dinner! yum yum!!

A look back...Christmas 2008

Well, this past Christmas was a little different. My brother, Christopher, Cooper and I flew to Indianapolis to spend it with Nanu Tina. We thought it would be nice for her to have her children and her grandbabies in HER house for a change. I did miss my boys back home though and the rest of the family! We had a wonderful time and it meant so much to me to have my mom wake up to share Christmas morning with her babies..in her home! She had decorated the house making it seem like a Christmas wonderland! The boys loved it! Cooper especially enjoyed the dancing Christmas chicken!! Mom prepared an awesome dinner for all of us! and I have to agree with you mom, I really do think you out-did Nana on the dressing!! I know Nana's proud!!
We all wore matching Christmas pajamas and Christopher even got a phone call from Santa!!
Santa wanted to make sure he was delivering the presents to the correct address you know!!
We made a gingerbread house, decorated sugar cookies and even made a gingerbread Christmas tree!! ..well Christopher did most of the work!!
"Crazy Auntie Karen" (mom's best friend, but she has become a part of the family I think, she has been soo good to the boys!!).....she came over Friday night with presents in hand...actually hand made shirts for the boys! and a few other goodies..she's so sweet ...and we all enjoyed some leftovers! especially the whipped cream on the pumpkin pie!! (from mom's Whipit!!)...
Rob came home Sat after spending Christmas with his family in South Dakota. It was soo nice to see him, but wish we could have had more time. We left out Sunday after rushing around trying to get packed while chasing busy fingers around. It's always so sad to part ways, but I think this time was more difficult because my mom would love soo much to have her family with her everyday! I pray that she will be able to move closer so she can enjoy her grandbabies more often!!
I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas! God Bless!

Happy New Year!!!

WOW!
I can't believe that another year has passed! I was thinking about last year and how Duane was at work and Cooper and I were home alone bringing in 2008 together! Cooper was just 2 months old!!! I had him in his bouncy seat as I fixed our drinks for a toast. Cooper enjoyed a nice bottle of milk, and I some champagne. (in my Cooper beer mug from mom!!) lol
We were listening to Alicia Keys perform on Times Square. and now every time I hear "No One" I think of New Year's eve 2007.
I wish everyone a Blessed and Happy 2009!!!

May this New Year bring newly found prosperity, love, happiness and delight in your life!!!
