A look back...Christmas 2008

Well, this past Christmas was a little different. My brother, Christopher, Cooper and I flew to Indianapolis to spend it with Nanu Tina. We thought it would be nice for her to have her children and her grandbabies in HER house for a change. I did miss my boys back home though and the rest of the family! We had a wonderful time and it meant so much to me to have my mom wake up to share Christmas morning with her babies..in her home! She had decorated the house making it seem like a Christmas wonderland! The boys loved it! Cooper especially enjoyed the dancing Christmas chicken!! Mom prepared an awesome dinner for all of us! and I have to agree with you mom, I really do think you out-did Nana on the dressing!! I know Nana's proud!!
We all wore matching Christmas pajamas and Christopher even got a phone call from Santa!!
Santa wanted to make sure he was delivering the presents to the correct address you know!!
We made a gingerbread house, decorated sugar cookies and even made a gingerbread Christmas tree!! ..well Christopher did most of the work!!
"Crazy Auntie Karen" (mom's best friend, but she has become a part of the family I think, she has been soo good to the boys!!).....she came over Friday night with presents in hand...actually hand made shirts for the boys! and a few other goodies..she's so sweet ...and we all enjoyed some leftovers! especially the whipped cream on the pumpkin pie!! (from mom's Whipit!!)...
Rob came home Sat after spending Christmas with his family in South Dakota. It was soo nice to see him, but wish we could have had more time. We left out Sunday after rushing around trying to get packed while chasing busy fingers around. It's always so sad to part ways, but I think this time was more difficult because my mom would love soo much to have her family with her everyday! I pray that she will be able to move closer so she can enjoy her grandbabies more often!!
I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas! God Bless!
